Today, Prashant Kishor secured his first electoral victory, with Jan Suraaj Party winning from Bankipur—a constituency that had remained a stronghold of a single party for nearly 30 years.

Congratulations to Prashant Kishor and the entire Jan Suraaj team on this remarkable milestone.

For me, today’s result brought back memories of one of the most intense and defining chapters of my career.

I had the privilege of working directly with Prashant Kishor from the early days of Jan Suraaj, beginning with the party’s launch on 2 October 2024, and later during the early phase of the 2025 Bihar Assembly election as a Political Consultant, leading initiatives across Strategy, Data & Technology Lead.

Those months weren’t just about elections. They were about countless sleepless nights, impossible deadlines, building technology under pressure, making data-driven decisions in real time, and collaborating with people across every level—from grassroots volunteers to senior leadership. It was one of the few experiences where I saw strategy, technology, execution, and public policy converge at an extraordinary scale.

Among everything I learned, one sentence from him has stayed with me:

“You have to stand for yourself.” — Simple words. Lasting impact.

That lesson has influenced me far beyond politics—in leadership, engineering, decision-making, and life.

Irrespective of political views, I remain grateful for the opportunity to contribute to a mission that challenged me, taught me resilience, and accelerated my growth as both a technologist and a leader.
